Weather Alert: Sharp Shift Expected Across Ukraine on July 3
Forecast for July 3
According to ХВИЛЯ: Meteorologist Natalka Didenko has warned of a dramatic weather change set to hit Ukraine on July 3. The shift is driven by a cold atmospheric front, bringing brief rain showers and thunderstorms to nearly all regions. However, eastern parts of the country will remain dry. At the same time, intense heat and sharp temperature contrasts could trigger squalls.
Temperatures in western oblasts, as well as Zhytomyr, Kyiv, and Vinnytsia regions, will range between +24 and +29 degrees Celsius. In the rest of the country, readings will climb to +30...+34 degrees. In Kyiv, the temperature will drop to +27 degrees, down from a previous +30.
'With thunderstorms, given the intense heat and significant temperature contrasts, squalls are possible.' Natalka Didenko
Didenko also urged residents to stay cautious and advised them to secure a safe parking spot for their vehicles in advance. She offered a special note for those sensitive to weather changes: 'People who are weather-sensitive should pay extra attention-shifting weather often brings headaches.'
