Yellow hazard code in Ukraine: where today fog will reduce visibility to 200 meters

According to glavcom.ua: Today, December 19, fog covered the Left Bank, western regions and Zhytomyr region, reducing visibility to 200-500 meters. The information is provided by «Glavkom», referring to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

Fog is dangerous, as the first level of danger has been declared, marked in yellow. Ukrhydrometcenter urges to be especially careful on the road due to complications in transport movement.

The State Emergency Service also urges drivers to be cautious on the road due to unfavorable weather conditions. The forecast currently shows that winter weather with frosts and minor precipitation is expected this week, which will gradually cease by the end of the week.
