Frosts will hit Ukraine from September 20: meteorologist warns of sharp cooling

However, a sharp cooling is expected in the last decade of the month. Cold Arctic masses may bring the first frosts to the north, east, and west of the country. There are warnings about the risks of drought and fires due to insufficient humidity.

According to meteorologists' forecasts, warm weather with minimal precipitation is expected in Ukraine in September. The average air temperature will be higher than usual, ranging between +14…+18 °C, and up to +19 °C in the south.

Thermometer readings will show:

• in the north — Mostly sunny. Temperature from +13°C to +27°C.
• in the south — Sunny. Temperature from +15°C to +29°C.
• in the west — Mostly sunny. Temperature from +12°C to +27°C.
• in the east — Mostly sunny. Temperature from +14°C to +28°C.
• in the center — Sunny, partly cloudy with clear spells. Temperature from +14°C to +28°C.
• in Kyiv — Sunny. Temperature from +13°C to +26°C.

September 5 is celebrated as International Charity Day and World Tattoo Day. The church holiday commemorates the memory of Saint Euthymius the Martyr and the Reverend Titus.
