Scandal involving Nazar Husakin. MP Vlasenko and the media law
Незаконні дії в медіа: народний депутат Власенко працює над законопроектом проти шахрайства.

Member of Parliament Serhiy Vlasenko expressed his intention to introduce a draft law that would provide for the responsibility of media and 'pseudo-journalists' for involvement in crimes, particularly in fraud through advertising and agitation.

MP Vlasenko asks: 'Have all those pseudo media and pseudo journalists who advertised this guy and begged and urged their gullible readers to pay (donate) him money apologized for their complicity in robbing Ukrainians? Or are they still waiting for something?'

The politician emphasized that his initiative will apply to all cases where the media participated in advertising projects that turned out to be fraudulent schemes.

In connection with the incident involving Nazar Husakin, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky noted that an investigation is underway regarding possible fraudulent actions, including the use of various financial institutions and services.

Considering the situation with fundraising and Husakin's departure abroad, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal urged the Ministry of Social Policy to increase the transparency of charitable collections to prevent similar situations in the future.

Vlasenko proposed the introduction of responsibility for the media and journalists in cases of their complicity in crimes, emphasizing that this will concern not only cases of fraud, but also any dangerous activities that harm society.
