According to glavcom.ua: Activists from Chernivtsi accused the company 'Ortotop' of producing low-quality prostheses for the military at the expense of the state. Veterans claim that some prostheses were issued only on paper, while others caused problems. One soldier reported that the prosthesis made by the company only worsened his condition, while another prosthesis from a different firm helped him walk better.
Veterans decided not to accept compensation from the company and initiated an investigation process. A company representative denied the fraud allegations and emphasized the possibility for clients to express their complaints.
