According to glavcom.ua: The temporary investigative commission (VSK) begins to check the work of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) for effectiveness. MP Serhiy Vlasenko noted that after the audit of NABU and the identified scandalous facts, the VSK plans to bring the actions of the Prosecutor General and the heads of other law enforcement agencies in order.

Vlasenko also reported that the Prosecutor General will participate in the next meeting of the commission to discuss the work of the entire law enforcement system. After that, it will be possible to summon the heads of other law enforcement agencies, as well as involve the public and representatives of the legal community.

«According to public data, in 2024, 1.9 billion UAH was spent from the state budget to maintain NABU, while the Bureau's activities led to the return of only... 823 million UAH from corruptors. That is, 2.2 times more was spent than returned to the state!» - experts noted.

The Ukrainian Temporary Investigative Commission has begun to check the work of NABU and SAP regarding the effectiveness of their work after scandals and audits. It is planned to summon the heads of law enforcement structures to discuss issues in the field of combating corruption and involving experts, representatives of the public, and lawyers in dialogue. This initiative is expected to contribute to improving the work of anti-corruption agencies and the justice system as a whole.
