Deadly car accident in Odesa region: two children killed, driver detained

According to glavcom.ua: A horrific accident occurred in the Odesa region, where two small children lost their lives. The driver of the Opel Astra lost control, went off the road, and crashed into a tree. Her passengers, a 22-year-old woman and her 15-year-old brother, survived. The driver was detained by police, and a criminal proceeding has been initiated.

Investigators have entered information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The suspect has been detained in a procedural manner. A decision is being made regarding notifying her of suspicion and choosing a preventive measure.
