According to Главком: A tragic accident occurred on June 9 around 12:44 p.m. in the center of Uzyn, a town in the Bila Tserkva region. A 72-year-old cyclist riding an Ardis bicycle was attempting a left turn while traveling in the same direction as traffic when a Volkswagen Tiguan, driven by a 60-year-old man, struck him. The cyclist died at the scene before medical help arrived. Authorities have launched a criminal investigation under Article 286, Part 2 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code.
Second Fatal Crash on Kyiv-Znamianka Highway
Another deadly collision occurred near the village of Khodosivka on the Kyiv-Znamianka highway. Three vehicles were involved: a Nissan, a Tesla, and a Toyota. The 43-year-old driver of the Nissan was part of the crash, and one passenger died inside an ambulance.
