The government promises to reduce power outages this weekend

According to Кабмін: Today, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydensko, along with ministers, heads of energy companies, regulators, and members of parliament, held another meeting of the energy headquarters. This was done to coordinate all necessary measures for the swift restoration of the energy system after Russian shelling.
The main measures agreed upon during the meeting include:
- We are monitoring the optimization of critical infrastructure consumption in the regions
- We are activating the connection of cogeneration plants
- We are providing generators for all life support facilities
- We are forming reserves of fuel and equipment
“Our goal is for people to have light. We expect a reduction in the duration of outages this weekend,” emphasized the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydensko.
During the meeting of the energy headquarters, the necessary measures for the quick restoration of the energy system after the shelling were discussed and agreed upon. The main goal remains to ensure electricity for Ukrainian citizens, so an improvement in the power outage situation is expected soon.
