Голодомор 1932-33: як тоталітарна система знищила український народ

Today in Ukraine, we honor the memory of the victims of the Holodomor of 1932–1933 and other mass famines. This is a day of remembrance for millions of Ukrainians who were destroyed by the Soviet regime through hunger - deliberately, violently, using the blockade of villages and terror.

In 1932–1933, the Stalinist regime attempted to destroy Ukrainians as a nation, implementing panic about five ears of corn and various repressions. People were left without food, and state agencies concealed information about the famine.

Today we see how Russia continues its crimes against Ukraine, relying on the continuity of Stalinist methods. The goal remains the same - the destruction of our culture and identity.

The memory of the Holodomor helps us analyze the Russian-Ukrainian war and Russia's genocidal practices. On this day, a moment of silence is planned to honor the memory of the victims. We encourage everyone to visit memorial sites and light a candle in remembrance.
