Sony Reveals October Games for PlayStation Plus Subscribers

According to НВ — Техно: From October 6 to November 2, PlayStation Plus members can claim three new titles at no extra cost:

  • The racing simulator F1 25,
  • The multiplayer first-person shooter Hunt: Showdown 1896,
  • The cooperative shooter Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2.

All these games will be accessible across every tier of PlayStation Plus, starting with the Essential plan.

Detailed Breakdown of the October Releases

F1 25, developed by Codemasters, immerses players in the 2025 Formula 1 season featuring 10 teams and 20 drivers. Notably, Lewis Hamilton appears racing for Ferrari. Alongside the traditional racing modes, the game offers the narrative-driven Braking Point 3 mode covering events from both 2024 and 2025 seasons, and the My Team 2.0 mode, which lets players build and manage their own F1 team.

Hunt: Showdown 1896 is a Crytek-developed multiplayer FPS set in late 19th-century America. Its main mode, Bounty Hunt, allows solo, duo, or trio gameplay, with high stakes since death means losing the hunter character along with all their gear.

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, created by the Japanese studio Yuke's, is a third-person co-op shooter available on PS4 and PS5. Offering over 600 weapons and accessories, plus more than 100 characters and missions, it supports up to four players online and includes a split-screen mode for two players.

Last month, the PS Plus Extra and Premium libraries expanded with titles such as:

  • RuneScape: Dragonwilds,
  • WWE 2K26,
  • Ball x Pit,
  • Date Everything!,
  • Slitterhead,
  • Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound,
  • Dungeons of Hinterberg,
  • Sniper Elite: Resistance.

Premium subscribers also gained access to Mega Man X Command Mission and the Metro Redux collection.

With this fresh batch of games, PlayStation Plus continues to diversify its offerings, catering to a wide range of player preferences and genres this October.
