According to hvylya.net: The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine today adopted a law ratifying the Agreement between Ukraine and the Council of Europe on the establishment of a Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine. This step opens up the opportunity to hold senior officials of the aggressor accountable.
The legislative initiative No. 0328 was supported by 323 members of parliament. The law ratified the agreement that was signed on June 25, 2025, in Strasbourg. The ratification of this agreement will allow for the launch of the legal mechanism for the formation of the institutional framework of the Special Tribunal. The establishment of the tribunal is an important step in the fight for justice and holding accountable those responsible for waging war against Ukraine.
