Law enforcement officers in Volyn uncovered an organized scheme for the illegal smuggling of conscripts across the border. It is reported that a train conductor of 'Ukrzaliznytsia' planned to receive 7 thousand dollars to illegally smuggle a man across the border into Poland through the 'Yahodyn' checkpoint. During the operation to detain the offender and the 'client', law enforcement officers apprehended them immediately after the money was transferred.
Such cases of illegal border crossing are becoming increasingly common at Ukrainian borders. Recently, border guards also identified a man who attempted to use a paraglider for illegal border crossing, as well as groups of individuals trying to illegally enter Romania.
