To the Right of Nazariy Husakov: Police Detained the Owner of the Fundraising Card

Yesterday, June 27, 2025, during the investigative actions regarding Nazariy Husakov, law enforcement authorities detained a man who, according to the investigation, was his trusted person and whose card was used for fundraising. This information was confirmed to Suspilne by sources in law enforcement, writes 'Glavkom'.

According to law enforcement, the detained man resisted during the searches. He tried to escape by car and ran over an operative officer of the Strategic Investigations Department of the National Police. As a result of the incident, the police officer was injured.

The man was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The car he tried to escape in was seized and sent to the impound lot.

Sanctions for resisting the police using violence provide for punishment of up to five years of imprisonment. Investigative actions regarding the Nazariy Husakov case are ongoing.

Police Urges People to Follow Information

Law enforcement is actively checking the circumstances of the fundraising for Nazariy Husakov and urges anyone with information about possible fraudulent activities to contact the police. Within the framework of the pre-trial investigation, it is being verified how the collections were organized, how the funds were used, and whether there was abuse of citizens' trust.

Police ask anyone who transferred funds to these collections, considers themselves a victim of fraudulent actions, or has any information that could assist the investigation to contact the investigator of the Main Investigative Directorate at the phone number: 099 302 15 24.

As a result of investigative actions in the Nazariy Husakov case, law enforcement detained a person who was used for fundraising and urges witnesses and potential victims to provide important data regarding the circumstances of this case.
