The USA approved Ukraine for over 3000 ERAM missiles: what it changes on the front

Two US officials stated that last week the Trump administration approved the sale of 3350 air-launched Extended Range Attack Munition missiles (ERAM). They are expected to arrive in Ukraine in the fall — approximately in 6 weeks.

The Trump administration approved the sale of over 3000 Extended Range Air-to-Ground missiles (ERAM) to Ukraine. As reported by 'Hvylya', this was reported by The Wall Street Journal.

It is noted that this weapon will be part of a military aid package worth 850 million dollars, which is primarily funded by European countries. In addition, it includes 'other goods'.

According to the publication, the package was postponed until the meeting of US President Donald Trump with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and the meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

At the same time, several US officials stated that ERAM would have a range of 150 to 280 miles (250-450 km). For their use, Ukraine will need to obtain approval from the Pentagon.
