The USA Captured Maduro: How the Operation 'Absolute Resolve' Took Place in Venezuela
Military Operation 'Absolute Resolve'
According to ХВИЛЯ: The USA conducted a military operation 'Absolute Resolve' in Venezuela, resulting in the capture of President Nicolas Maduro. The operation was carried out by elite Delta units with the support of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and air force. The preparation for the assault lasted several months, and in August, a secret group of CIA officers infiltrated Caracas.
The operation was initiated by the order of President Donald Trump. About 150 aircraft struck Venezuelan air defense systems. The assault on Maduro's bunker occurred at 2:01 a.m. local time, and just five minutes after the assault began, Maduro was in custody. He was evacuated to the US Navy ship 'Iwo Jima' in the Caribbean Sea.
During the operation, at least 40 people from the Venezuelan side were killed. Among American military personnel, there were no casualties; however, about six fighters were injured. General Dan Kane characterized the operation as 'tactically flawless.'
Donald Trump noted that 'the USA now controls the situation and is ready to restore Venezuela's oil infrastructure.'
Geopolitical Consequences
This military operation has significant geopolitical consequences, as the capture of Nicolas Maduro could change the balance of power in Latin America. By supporting a new government, the USA may attempt to regain control over Venezuelan oil resources, which could affect global oil markets. Washington's actions may also provoke a reaction from other countries that support Maduro, potentially leading to new conflicts in the region.
