Free AgriFood Innovation Camp Launches to Empower Ukrainian Agri-Startups Tackling War and Climate Challenges

About the AgriFood Innovation Camp

According to Рубрика — Суспільство: Applications are now open for the AgriFood Innovation Camp, a complimentary training and mentorship initiative designed to support Ukrainian startups and businesses in the agri-food sector. The program aims to help participants develop innovative approaches to navigate ongoing military conflict, climate change, and economic pressures. Organized by the Radar Tech and Civitta consortium, with backing from EIT Food and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) of the European Union, the course will be delivered in a hybrid format from October through December.

Who Can Apply?

Ukrainian startups and agri-food businesses with teams of at least two people and existing pilot projects or customers are encouraged to participate. The deadline to submit applications is October 5th at 9:00 AM. A Q&A webinar will take place on September 17th, providing applicants an opportunity to clarify any questions about the program.

The program culminates in a final event where startups will pitch their solutions to potential investors and major industry players, including:

• Smart Farming

The top-performing team will be awarded a financial prize. According to Maria Romanova, CEO of Radar Tech:

Participants will have the chance to work on a variety of critical topics, such as:

• Ensuring food supply chain stability
• Development of alternative protein sources
• Agri-food solutions addressing war impacts and optimizing resource use

The program’s advantages include hands-on workshops, mentorship, personalized consultations, and guidance on refining business models and marketing strategies to facilitate entry into global markets.
