Women's Euro-2027 in Futsal: UEFA approved a new format with eight finalists

UEFA is already revealing its cards for the upcoming women's European futsal championship in 2027. Now, eight teams will compete in the final instead of the previous four. This tournament will take place every four years.

Qualification and Final

To qualify for the championship, teams will have to participate in three stages: the main round, the elite round, and the playoffs. The holder of the direct ticket is Croatia. The final tournament will be held in Osijek at the 'Arena Gradski Vrt' stadium.

Qualification System

At the initial stage, teams will compete for group winners and the best second-placed teams at one venue. In the elite round, the winners and teams with a pass to this stage will compete. The playoffs will determine the last participant in the final.
