Natalia Barishovets, a serviceman, passed away in Kyiv: what is known about the defender

Natalia, who was a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, passed away on December 18, 2025, at the National Military Medical Clinical Center in Kyiv during treatment. This information was spread by the Slavutych City Council through the 'Glavkom' resource.

Born on February 3, 1987, in Lyuban, Belarus, Natalia tied her life to Slavutych. Here she studied, lived, and worked in the trade sector. After graduating from School No. 2, she made many friends thanks to her industriousness and friendly nature.

The warrior defends the Motherland

In 2024, Natalia made an important decision and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, although she could have made another choice. She decided to become a defender of her country and ensure safety for her children. As a loving mother, Natalia always valued her loved ones and was always devoted to her friends.

The serviceman was buried in Slavutych, where she had family and children. Beside her remained her mother Raisa Vasylivna, father Oleksandr Mykolaiovych, and two little ones who are now left without a mother.

After a moment of silence, we honor the memory of all fallen Ukrainians who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the country. The memory shines for all who died at the hands of Russian invaders and in the struggle for the freedom of Ukraine.
