Fines from the TCC raise doubts: lawyers revealed a nuance
The legislation that allowed Territorial Centers for Recruitment and Social Support to impose fines on conscripts for the untimely updating of military registration data has been repealed. According to 'Economic News', the law on relevant responsibility expired on July 17, 2025.
The Law of Ukraine № 3633-IX, which came into force on May 18, 2024, established legal grounds for the termination of administrative fines for the untimely updating of military registration data. The law set a 60-day period for correcting personal data, which ended on July 16, 2024.
According to Article 38 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, TCCs have a year to bring to justice after the deadline for updating data on July 16, 2024.
The Ukrainian law № 3633-IX terminated the possibility for TCCs to impose fines on conscripts for the untimely updating of data. Now, according to Article 38 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, they need to take action within a year after the deadline for updating.
