Incident in Rudno Village

According to Главком: In Rudno Village in Lviv region on January 14 at around 10:00 a.m., there was a shooting, as a result of which no one was injured. The police announced an interception plan, and investigators have already initiated criminal proceedings. The incident occurred when the driver of a Volkswagen Passat shot at a Volkswagen Transporter minibus belonging to the soldiers of the Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support.

As a result of the shooting, the minibus only suffered technical damage. However, according to police, the driver of the Volkswagen Passat may face punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of three to seven years. Investigative actions are ongoing, and the incident is classified under part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Police Actions and Residents' Concerns

The police are actively working to establish all the circumstances of the event and are also trying to find possible witnesses of this incident. The subsequent actions of the law enforcement are aimed at ensuring safety in the region and preventing similar incidents in the future.
