Health Screening 40+: What Will Change for Ukrainians Starting 2026

Screening Tests for Detecting Disease Risks

Thanks to screening tests, it is possible to timely detect the risks of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and other urgent illnesses before symptoms appear. This allows for maintaining health through consultations with doctors and lifestyle changes.

In some countries, such as Poland, Lithuania, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, screening is already part of state health care programs. Ukraine is also implementing the National Program 'Health Screening 40+', which will start on January 1, 2026.

Ukraine has joined the countries that focus on early detection of disease risks through screening tests, which helps to enhance the effectiveness of medical assistance and maintain the nation's health.
