According to Главком: Kyiv's Shevchenkivskyi District Court has extended the pre-trial detention of Oleksandr Dubinsky, a suspect in a state treason case, while setting an alternative bail amount exceeding 33.28 million hryvnias. This decision follows criminal proceedings initiated after Dubinsky was formally notified of suspicion on November 13, 2023. The case is part of Ukraine's ongoing efforts to counter alleged Russian influence operations within its political system.

Court materials indicate that Dubinsky traveled to Saint Petersburg on October 11-12, 2019. His associate, Andrii Derkach, who was reportedly recruited in April 2019, is also implicated in the proceedings. According to the investigation, Derkach received substantial cash tranches in 2020 from individuals alleged to be accomplices of Russian intelligence services, with the money delivered to a reception office at 9-A Hrushevskoho Street.
