According to Главком: A Kyiv court has ordered the continued pre-trial detention of director Andriy Bilous until March 21, 2026. Judge and court spokesperson Maria Pylaieva confirmed the ruling. Bilous, the former director of the Young Theater and a lecturer at the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary University of Theater, Cinema and Television, faces charges of sexually assaulting female students over a five-year period from March 2018 to April 2023.

Police have formally charged Bilous with sexual violence, launching a criminal case. Investigators allege he repeatedly assaulted five women. In a separate accusation, an anonymous woman has come forward alleging sexual harassment, claiming Bilous sent her intimate photographs of other students and requested similar images from her.
