The Constitutional Court reviewed cases regarding lustration and labor rights
On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, the Grand Chamber continued to review cases based on constitutional submissions and complaints. The Court examined the following cases:
- The constitutional submission of the Supreme Court regarding the constitutionality of paragraph 12 of the first part of article 34 of the Law of Ukraine 'On Enforcement Proceedings'.
- The constitutional submissions of the Supreme Court of Ukraine regarding the constitutionality of the provisions of the Law of Ukraine 'On Purification of Power' dated September 16, 2014.
- Constitutional complaints of certain individuals regarding the constitutionality of certain provisions of the Law of Ukraine 'On Amendments to Some Legislative Acts of Ukraine on the Optimization of Labor Relations' dated July 1, 2022.
These issues will be addressed at the next plenary sessions.
The Grand Chamber will also consider the statement of a subject of the right to constitutional complaint regarding the adoption of measures to ensure the constitutional complaint through the issuance of a securing order at one of the upcoming meetings.
As a result of the Grand Chamber's review of the cases, important decisions may be adopted that will determine the constitutional legitimacy of certain legislative acts of Ukraine. These judicial decisions may have a significant impact on Ukrainian legislation and society as a whole.
