The court in the case of the bombing of the Crimean Bridge concluded with a sentence of life imprisonment for eight defendants. They were found guilty of terrorism and illegal transportation of explosives. However, none of them admitted guilt. Among the accused were logistics specialists, drivers, and entrepreneurs from various countries who could have been involved in the truck that exploded on the bridge.
The events are related to the morning attack on the Crimean Bridge in October 2022, carried out by the Security Service. In July 2023, the involvement in the attack was stated when the SBU employees discreetly delivered explosives to the bridge, wrapping them in packaging tape that easily passed through security scanners.
