According to Главком: Law enforcement authorities in Kyiv have halted a scheme involving the illegal construction of homes on protected land within the Holosiivskyi National Nature Park. On a plot exceeding three hectares in the 'Haiok' tract, 33 garden houses were erected. The Prosecutor's Office, concerned by these actions, filed 33 lawsuits demanding the demolition of the illegally built structures and the cancellation of their property registrations.

Courts have already ruled in favor of 10 of these lawsuits, with six of those verdicts now legally binding. A criminal investigation has been opened into the unauthorized construction, which falls under specific articles of the Ukrainian Criminal Code, as well as for the use of forged documents. Among the individuals under investigation is a 46-year-old former chairman of the association responsible for the development, who has been notified of suspicion regarding the seizure of land on Zhukov Island.
