Russian drone struck a residential building in Sumy region: rescuers evacuated 35 people

According to ДСНС: Today, in the Sumy region, Russian forces attacked a multi-storey building in the city of Okhtyrka. Using unmanned aerial vehicles, strikes were made, causing a fire in the apartments from the second to the fifth floor.

Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire and evacuated 35 people. They also rescued 7 more individuals, including one child. The recovery efforts were slightly complicated by the threat of new attacks, but eventually all fires were contained. Currently, the dismantling of damaged structures is ongoing.

As a result of the attack by Russian forces on Okhtyrka, a fire was caused in the residential building, but thanks to the quick response of the rescuers and the evacuation of residents, it was possible to prevent a tragedy. All damaged fire sources were covered, and rescuers continue their work at the scene.
