According to Главком: The Sumy region has adopted a new curfew schedule running from 00:00 to 05:00, following a decision by the regional Defense Council. In frontline communities within the area, the duration of restrictions may be adjusted based on the evolving security situation.

Meanwhile, starting April 1, 2026, the Mykolaiv region introduced an updated curfew and blackout regime. The order to change the restriction times was signed by Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

Despite these adjustments, the situation in Sumy region remains tense. Russian forces have seized control of several settlements near the border and continue to use aviation to strike civilian infrastructure. The Yampil community was among the latest to come under attack.
