From September 12, the rules for taking the driving test have changed: what has been updated
As of September 12, updated rules for the theoretical driving test will come into effect. The Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the test questions have been adapted to the new Traffic Rules and government regulations. These changes are aimed at improving the quality of testing for prospective drivers.
For example, in the section 'Traffic Signs', the wording of certain questions has been clarified. Thus, the explanation regarding warning signs about areas with a concentration of road traffic accidents has been slightly changed in test number 206. Changes have also been noted in the 'Road Marking' and 'Basics of Safe Driving' sections. For example, in task No. 87, the effect of the air conditioner on the car while driving has been clarified.
Improvement of tests and exam conditions
Representatives of service centers emphasize that the changes in tests were made possible thanks to an open bank of exam questions and feedback from citizens. 'We want to make the testing process as transparent and understandable as possible, so everyone can contribute to improving the testing through the feedback form on our website,' explained the GSC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the updated rules, the theoretical test consists of 20 questions, for which 20 minutes are allotted. No more than two mistakes are allowed; otherwise, the attempt is considered unsuccessful. The tasks are divided into several blocks by topics. You can prepare for the exam both in a driving school and independently.
