The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, received a report from the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskiy. According to a message on Telegram, the enemy continues to use the same tactics, attempting to seize positions with small groups.

Our forces continue to eliminate Russian sabotage groups in various directions. The enemy's tactics remain unchanged: they use small groups to capture new positions. Ukrainian troops are making every effort to detect and prevent such attempts by the occupiers, Zelensky noted.

During the meeting, the situation in the border areas of Sumy region was also discussed. The president expressed gratitude to all units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for fulfilling their tasks. He particularly noted the units operating in the Pokrovske direction and defending Sumy region.

Thank you, warriors!, the president concluded.

Report on strikes and financing

The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces also spoke about long-range strikes, mentioning logistics problems faced by Russian troops. Together with the Minister of Defense and the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, they are planning additional funding for the production and supply of drones.

Next week, new contracts for the purchase of drones for various needs, from the front to protecting cities from Russian drones, will be signed, the president summarized.

At a conference in Germany, it was also noted that there are currently no grounds for a quick end to hostilities in Ukraine. A German general also refuted the plans of Russian terrorists to launch up to 2000 drones simultaneously in Ukraine.

The meeting of President Zelensky with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskiy was generally devoted to discussing the situation in military sectors and organizing defense in Ukraine. The possibility of increasing funding for the army was also discussed, including for the procurement of new military equipment, weapons, and drones.
