According to УНІАН — Туризм: The magazine Time Out has compiled a ranking of cities around the world for nightlife in 2026, based on a survey of over 24,000 local residents in 150 cities. Bangkok topped this ranking, with 73% of residents rating the nightlife in their city as good or excellent. According to the survey results, Bangkok has been recognized as the best city in the world for nightlife, underscoring its appeal to both locals and tourists.

Berlin came in second place overall, becoming the best city in Europe. 78% of Berlin's residents gave high ratings to their city's nightlife. Following it is New York, which holds the third position. The top five also includes Melbourne from Australia and São Paulo from Brazil. The top ten also features European cities:

• Brighton (8th place)
• Amsterdam (10th place)

Brighton, where 84% of residents stated that it is easy to meet people and feel part of the local community, along with New York, secured second place for the number of people who described these cities as lively, diverse, and inclusive. Time Out also highlighted WorldPride 2026, which will enhance Amsterdam's reputation.

“A good night out is no longer defined by just one type of venue,” noted Time Out’s travel editor Grace Beard.

She added that “every city offers unforgettable experiences for any type of evening entertainment and for anyone. This is what great urban life should look like.”

Additionally, Time Out compiled a separate ranking of affordable destinations, with Tirana recognized as the most budget-friendly city for vacation. Daily expenses in Tirana amount to around €59 per person. Accommodation in a three-star hotel here costs approximately €32 per night, dinner in an inexpensive restaurant costs €8.50, and local beer is €1.50. This data makes Tirana an attractive destination for those seeking budget-friendly vacation options.
