According to ХВИЛЯ: Forecaster Natalka Didenko reported that the total intense heat in Ukraine will last for another day – August 6. After that, the temperature will begin to drop, starting from the west, and by August 9 it will even decrease in the southern regions of the country. In Kyiv, the hottest day will be Thursday, August 6, when the air temperature is expected to be between +37 and +39 degrees, with no precipitation. In the evening of the same day, localized rains are possible in the west, north, and in the Vinnytsia region.

According to the forecast, on August 7 the heat will begin to subside in the western regions, where the temperature will be +24 to +29 degrees. In the rest of Ukraine, hot weather will still persist that day with temperatures ranging from +30 to +39 degrees. In Kyiv, heavy rain and gusts of wind are also expected on August 7, which will begin to wash away the high temperatures.

On August 8, the heat will weaken in most regions, and in Kyiv, the temperature will drop to +25 to +27 degrees. By August 9, it will be cooler even in the south of Ukraine. It is worth noting that Didenko also expressed concerns about the polluted air and fires caused by shelling.
