According to Главком: A horrific crime in the village of Stanislavchyk, Zolochiv district, Lviv region, claimed three lives on February 15. The bodies of a 42-year-old man and his two children, aged 13 and 15, were discovered with no signs of life in a private home. Preliminary information indicates the father used a hunting rifle to shoot his children before turning the weapon on himself.

Law enforcement received a report about the incident at approximately 9:25 PM. Three bodies were found at the scene. A criminal investigation has been launched under specific articles of the Ukrainian Criminal Code, with a preliminary classification of murder-suicide. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Family Background and Official Response

The family involved in this tragedy was not registered with social services. According to the local Children's Services, the family was considered stable and well-functioning.

Maksym Kozytskyi, Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, stated: 'I am keeping the situation under personal control. I am in contact with all services and will inform about confirmed details.'
