Tragedy in Brazil: bus collides with truck - 11 dead, 45 injured

Terrible news has come from the central-western state of Mato Grosso in Brazil - there has been a terrible road traffic accident. A passenger bus collided head-on with a truck carrying cotton seeds. As a result of this head-on collision, at least 11 people died, and another 45 sustained various injuries.

The Federal Highway Police reported that 11 victims are in critical condition, 26 are in serious condition, and another eight suffered minor injuries. The incident occurred near the city of Lucas do Rio Verde, and the causes of the accident are currently being investigated by law enforcement. The injured have been hospitalized in hospitals where they are receiving the necessary assistance. Also, due to this accident, six people sustained injuries with minor burns.

Other Road Tragedies

Some time ago, an accident occurred in Romania involving a bus with 60 Ukrainians. The bus collided with a Romanian minibus, resulting in one death. Also, in southern Mexico, a tragic incident occurred when a bus with 48 passengers crashed into a truck. In this accident, 41 people died, including bus passengers, both drivers, and the truck driver.
