It is known that a 30-year-old woman, her 61-year-old mother, and her 63-year-old father died from carbon monoxide poisoning caused by the use of a generator powered by a gas cylinder. The bodies of the deceased were found by the police in their apartment.
Circumstances of the Incident
According to law enforcement, the family had turned on the generator on the balcony the day before, leading to the accumulation of dangerous gas in the premises. Carbon monoxide is colorless and odorless, yet extremely hazardous. This case is not isolated: previously in Irpin, a young couple also died from carbon monoxide poisoning from a generator, and in Brovary, a 56-year-old man became a victim of a similar tragedy.
