Statement from the U.S. President

According to ХВИЛЯ: U.S. President Donald Trump has declared his intention to launch a significant military strike against Iran and to seize control of Kharg Island along with other key oil facilities in the country. This announcement came amid a fresh wave of U.S. airstrikes that began on the night of June 10. Writing on his Truth Social platform, Trump stated that the United States would 'hit Iran very hard tonight.'

The plan involves the U.S. taking full command of Iran's oil and gas markets. Explosions from the latest strikes were reported in dozens of Iranian cities, including areas near Tehran and in the southern part of the country close to the Strait of Hormuz. The conflict has been ongoing since February 28, and in response to U.S. actions, Iran has launched attacks on Persian Gulf states and Jordan.

Trump emphasized that in the near future, the U.S. will take over Kharg Island and other Iranian oil infrastructure sites. It is worth noting that Iran’s air defense systems, air force, navy, radar installations, and much of its offensive capabilities have already been destroyed. Separately, inflation in Ukraine has been reported to exceed 4%.

Escalation of the Conflict

This phase of the U.S.-Iran conflict marks a clear escalation in military operations and rising regional tensions. Gaining control over Iran's oil infrastructure could have major economic repercussions, not only for the two countries involved but also for global oil markets. Additionally, Iran’s potential response-such as further attacks on neighboring nations-risks deepening the crisis across the already volatile Middle East region.

The implications of Trump's declaration extend beyond Iran's borders, as Tehran has issued warnings regarding the potential for a broader conflict. As tensions escalate, Iran's threats of war expanding could further destabilize the region, prompting a reevaluation of U.S. strategies in the Middle East and beyond.
