In a statement posted to Truth Social on July 31, Trump said that under Joe Biden's administration, the United States was going through exactly what Spain is going through now.

Trump shared video footage showing a surge of migrants arriving in Ceuta, the Spanish enclave surrounded by Morocco. Spain's Interior Ministry reported that nearly 50,000 migrants crossed from Morocco into Ceuta over the past day. At least 18 people died while attempting to reach Spanish territory.

'What is happening to Spain, with tens of thousands of illegal migrants flooding in, also happened in the United States under the administration of Sleepy Joe Biden,' Trump said.

He added: 'It will happen again, only worse, if the fools ever get back in power.' Trump urged Americans to back the Republican Party in the election, saying: 'Don't let our country be destroyed. Vote Republican and be proud of the United States.'
