Trump emphasized the scale of human losses in the conflict: '7 thousand people are dying every week, mostly soldiers.' The American president called it a 'senseless war that would have never started if I had remained in power.'
'This is not about Ukraine. It's about helping people live,' Trump stressed, adding: 'If I can do something to stop this, I think I have that obligation.'
