New US Weaponry Deployed in Caracas Operation

According to Главком: Former US President Donald Trump has confirmed that a new secret weapon was used during the January 3, 2023, raid in Caracas that led to the capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro. This operation highlights the increasing technological edge sought by major powers in covert actions. The weapon, dubbed the 'Disorientator,' has faced criticism for its effects on Maduro's security detail, who were armed with advanced Russian and Chinese missile systems.

Trump stated that Maduro's guards were prepared for a confrontation but were rendered unable to use their armaments.

“They never fired their missiles. We arrived, they were pushing buttons, and nothing worked. They were waiting for us, fully ready,” the former president noted.

Simultaneously, one of Maduro's guards described experiencing a 'very intense sonic wave' under the weapon's influence, adding that 'suddenly my head felt like it was exploding from the inside.'

Observed Symptoms and Aftermath

The symptoms exhibited by Maduro's guards drew immediate comparisons to 'Havana Syndrome,' a set of mysterious ailments first documented in late 2016 among US personnel in Havana, Cuba. Similar incidents have since been reported by diplomats in China, Europe, and Washington. The effects observed on the guards included:

  • widespread nosebleeds,
  • vomiting blood,
  • complete paralysis, causing individuals to collapse and be unable to move.

Nicolás Maduro, apprehended during the raid, declared in court that he was not guilty, asserting:

“I am innocent. I am not guilty. I am a decent person.”

He also claimed he had been kidnapped from his home in Caracas. The incident has provoked significant international debate, focusing on the ethics and norms governing such advanced weaponry and its severe physiological impacts.

The deployment of the 'Disorientator' in the operation against Maduro underscores the growing role of directed-energy and non-kinetic technologies in modern conflicts. This event raises profound questions about international law and the humanitarian consequences of such arms, potentially influencing future weapons development and the political relationship between the US, Venezuela, and other interested nations in the region.
