According to Студия Руслана Бизяева: Interview dedicated to analyzing Donald Trump's speech at the Davos Forum, specifically his criticism of Europe, statements regarding Ukraine, and intentions regarding the purchase of Greenland. The internal situation in Ukraine, the energy crisis in Kyiv, and the geopolitical consequences of the new rhetoric from the USA are also discussed.

Host: Andriy Volodymyrovych, I suggest we discuss the speech of the President of the USA, Donald Trump, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, while the impressions are still fresh. He stated that Europe is moving in the wrong direction and has become a problematic continent. Essentially, he started his speech with criticism of Europe. This was quite expected, wasn't it?

Guest: No, not expected. Perhaps it was a clever move to shift the discourse away from Ukraine and security guarantees to another topic more favorable for Trump - Greenland. Although it is hard to say whether Greenland is beneficial, as this topic could become fatal for Euro-Atlantic unity. NATO may cease to exist. If we translate Trump's speech into simple language, it is a challenge thrown to the globalists. Bright representatives of the globalist international rule in the European Union, so this speech will gain maximum resonance. But returning to the topic, Trump also touched on the issue of Ukraine.

Host: Yes, Andriy Volodymyrovych, apparently the fuel has run out in the generator. Such are the realities. But we are in touch.

Guest: Spare lamps do exist. I'm also without light. They promised to turn it back on by five, but they did not.

Host: What did Trump say regarding Ukraine?

Guest: Fortunately for Ukraine, he is waiting to meet with Zelensky. Apparently, Zelensky did not go there not because of the struggle for the energy system; it is pure PR. His absence is a direct result of not very successful negotiations of the Ukrainian delegation in Miami last weekend. Apparently, the parties did not agree on anything. Trump's speech shows that he has more points of contact with Putin today than with representatives of Ukraine. He directly states how they discussed with Putin and how Putin complimented him regarding the resolution of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Trump's speech is self-praise. Some things can be agreed upon, for example, regarding nuclear energy. The green delusion set in motion by globalists in Europe had fatal consequences for German industry. With expensive energy carriers, the products of German corporations have become uncompetitive. This affects even Volkswagen and Mercedes, which are closing factories. Germany unreasonably abandoned nuclear energy. France did not close its nuclear power plants, and its economy is in better shape now. When Trump says that every turn of a wind turbine is a thousand lost dollars, he is not far from the truth. But on a global scale, Trump makes it clear to the Europeans that due to economic pressure and high tariffs, he will seek a solution acceptable to him regarding Greenland but will not resort to a military takeover. However, it is hard to believe. Over 100 years ago, when the USA bought the Virgin Islands from Denmark, they promised not to claim Greenland. Times change. Back then the USA motivated the purchase by saying they needed to outpace the Germans who could set up a submarine base there. Today they talk about the Russians and the Chinese. This is artistic buzz.

Host: Andriy Volodymyrovych, regarding the Russian-Ukrainian war? Let's once again emphasize Trump's statements on this topic.

Guest: The American president stated that Zelensky and Putin would be fools if they did not conclude a peace agreement. The situation around Ukraine has reached a point where the parties can conclude an agreement, and the settlement will happen in a reasonably short time. He also said that he should meet with Zelensky at the Davos forum. Zelensky's adviser wrote that the president is in Kyiv, but Axios reports that the meeting may take place tomorrow. Meanwhile, Tsipkovsky will be meeting with Putin in Moscow. But I have already said that things are going more smoothly between Trump and Putin. The agreements are being honored. As for the prospects of peace, Trump simplifies things a bit. There are many unresolved issues: not just the issue of ceding Donbas and the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops but also mutual renunciation of financial claims. The Kremlin offers mutual renunciation, which does not suit the Ukrainian side. The scale of damage is significant; American recovery plans probably do not cover them. The economy is teetering, and the budget is critically deficit. Even if the war stops tomorrow, there will not be enough funds for social commitments or health care, education. Those who manage relations with Washington will try to figure out what Trump meant. Is it a slip of the tongue, or is the meeting indeed planned? I would not advise Zelensky to fly; there is a high risk of repeating the scene in the Oval Office against the backdrop of the unsuccessful trip by Budanov, Umerov, and Arahamiya to the USA. The parties maintain a pause in comments, apparently, a compromise has not been reached. The question remains open for me as to what Tsipkovsky will take to Moscow. I am not optimistic about the prospects for peace. There remains the option that Zelensky will arrive and agree to everything. But yesterday he clearly positioned himself alongside Europeans against Trump. The consequences will not delay. Although Zelensky spoke about the need to respect the territorial integrity of Denmark, let us not forget that an agreement in the field of defense has been signed between Ukraine and Denmark. Such a statement may not have pleased Trump. Thus, the scene in the Oval Office could have repeated itself. But when Trump announced the meeting, it surprised me. Nevertheless, let's leave a one-percent chance. Gathering quickly to Switzerland is not a problem; the question is the result. If you go to fulfill these requirements - then one can go home no longer. There are many questions and among the military; some say they will not carry out such an order. I think we will see everything in the coming days. Today, a suspicion flew in for Shurma, who worked at the Bankova. I think there will be further arrivals for some from the anti-Trump coalition. Apparently, due to the suspicions, the NABU will force part of the Ukrainian political figures to behave properly. Events in the Verkhovna Rada are not far off. The mono-majority has died. This is a question of literally a few weeks when the reformatting will begin, and perhaps we will see a new speaker. With such a background, significant changes in the process of war and peace are possible. But for now, I do not see prospects for radical changes.

Host: Andriy Volodymyrovych, regarding Greenland. Trump stated that he would immediately begin negotiations for the acquisition of Greenland, called the Danes ungrateful, saying that Denmark fell in 6 hours during World War II, and the USA protected the island. How does the Kremlin react to this?

Guest: In the Kremlin, they applaud standing. The US claims on Greenland legitimize Crimea and Donbas, the occupation and annexation of territories, which the Russian leader recently recognized as a sovereign part of Ukraine. Propagandists say that this is different after Maidan. But essentially, such rhetoric means that the rules and principles of the liberal world order after World War II are left in the past. The era of a new world order is beginning, where the law of force will reign rather than the force of law. The USA has no rights to Greenland, aside from Trump's desires hidden behind talks of the missile defense system "Iron Dome." He mentioned they have a missile that can destroy everything. Here he resembles Vladimir Vladimirovich with his cartoon demonstrations. But magical weapons do not exist; every weapon has a propaganda effect. Trump inserted about a missile with incomprehensible physical principles. This reminds me of jokes about a rubber bomb.

Host: Andriy Volodymyrovych, it is only the first month of 2026. For the first time in 100 years, the Canadian military seriously, albeit theoretically, calculated the scenario in which the main ally - America - becomes an aggressor. The Canadian Army has developed a model for protection in case of a US attack. How do you comment on this?

Guest: This is quite reasonable given the incomparable military potentials. The Canadians have no choice but to go into the woods and conduct a guerilla war. History always contains unexpected twists. Who could have thought 20 years ago about a military conflict with Russia? And today it is the longest war. What seemed unthinkable in US-Canada relations may become a reality tomorrow. Let us not forget that a significant part of Canada was under the French crown, and British colonies fought against each other during the Seven Years' War. Yesterday's friends become the fiercest enemies and vice versa. Between World War I and World War II, the USSR regarded British and French imperialists as potential adversaries, but it turned out that they were together in the anti-Hitler coalition. There is nothing to be surprised about. For Europeans, who are used to living comfortably and safely under the American nuclear umbrella, this is a shock. Trump emphasized the problem of uncontrolled migration in Europe; this is a ball in the court of globalists. In the USA, migration police is compared to the Gestapo. This could become a trigger for the domestic political situation in the USA, like the events in Minneapolis, where immigration police shot a law-abiding white American woman, and the city has not calmed down for the third week.

Host: Andriy Volodymyrovych, regarding Greenland once again. Ursula von der Leyen stated that Greenland is a key NATO outpost in the Arctic, and Brussels does not intend to relinquish control over the region. Then why did the few representatives of European armies so hastily leave Greenland?

Guest: The Belgian Defense Minister wrote something sharply anti-Trump, and half an hour later he erased it. That is the essence: strong words that come with no action. Macron, whom Trump laughed at, the Europeans are not ready for a tough confrontation with the USA. They are not ready to abandon military-political partnership, although the USA behaves unlike allies. We can laugh at Trump's extravagance, but he is moving towards his goals. Europe is not prepared for such confrontation; not even for tariff pressure are they ready to tighten their belts. Trump divided the Europeans into good guys and those who need to be punished with tariffs. Those who take a clear anti-Trump position and support Ukraine in the war. Trump sent them a message: this war is not ours; Europeans should handle it. Focus on Ukraine, Russia, the war in Europe, while I quietly deal with Greenland. This will have fatal consequences: a demonstration of political weakness. Due to the election cycle, many will go. Political impotence is punished at the polls. For NATO, it seems, everything is over. Trump demonstratively reduces the number of Americans in NATO's apparatus. What no one predicted 3-5 years ago - the ineptitude and collapse of NATO - is becoming a reality. The precedent with Greenland may become a catalyst for this process.

Host: Andriy Volodymyrovych, a little away from geopolitics. The fiancée of former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba suggested that Ukrainians warm themselves with vibrators. Your comment?

Guest: For such a statement, Dmytro Kuleba probably deserves a good scolding from his wife and brother. Another stupidity from our celebrities. The passions around Tina Karol, who suggested making some bucks, have not yet cooled down. Now she will have to wash it off. It resembles Marie Antoinette: "If they have no bread, let them eat cake." If it's cold in the apartment, warm yourself with vibrators. Meanwhile, the situation, unfortunately, is nothing good, except that it will get a little warmer. What is happening with the Kyiv energy system is the consequences of three massive strikes on December 25-27, January 9, and January 13, 2025, which destroyed the large generation ring. No one, when designing Kyiv's heating system, anticipated that there would be pinpoint strikes aimed at energy terror. The objects built in the USSR are rational but designed for frontline warfare, not for dozens of "Shaheds" and high-precision weapons targeting heat generation facilities. There were talks about several levels of protection for energy facilities, but in reality, we saw gabions and a destroyed transformer worth 7.5 million dollars. The transformer can be replaced, but with CHPP-5, the largest in Ukraine, the situation is more serious. The damage to the machine equipment is significant. If there is a fourth attack, we will lose the last straw. Right now, it operates at 30%, which prevents the system from freezing. It's cold in the apartments, but this avoids the worst. CHP-6, which supplies Troieshchyna (with a population greater than some regional centers), is also very powerful. Without such centralization of heating supply, the consequences are severe. The situation is better in Zhytomyr or Kharkiv because there is a decentralized system, pellet boilers. For many years, we talked about the need for decentralization, but it remained talk since large CHPPs allowed for cheaper heat and good profits. If the opponent were dealing with decentralized generation, it wouldn't be worth chasing every boiler. This is a vulnerability point for Kyiv. Klitschko talks about 600,000 who left; we do not know the exact number. Markieva continues to ring the alarm, indicating the most complicated situation in the city and urging those who can to leave. We witnessed a verbal skirmish between Zelensky and Klitschko on social media. An information war is underway. The presidential office, which does not control the capital 100%, remembering Yanukovych's example, is waging a permanent war with the Kyiv city hall while trying to orchestrate a reshuffle. Rumor has it that Ptiushkin is being promoted to mayor of Kyiv. One clown is insufficient for us. There is a juggling of responsibility. Klitschko blames the fact that he cannot demand anything from the heads of regions because they are appointed by Bankova. How then to manage the city? They point to Kharkiv, where everything is centralized. But Klitschko also has many questions; a lot of money has been squandered, with a system of siphoning and kickbacks. The highway "South" has absorbed huge amounts of money, land allocations for toilets. Klitschko's team is not without sin; every politician is a corruptor of corruptors. They steal from the losses of Kyiv, and this is very clearly visible at the level of the city's streets.

Host: Andriy Volodymyrovych, let’s finish up, considering that the backup power is not endless.

Guest: There will not be a total blackout; it will not be possible to completely turn off Ukraine. It will be hard, but we will survive. When they call to evacuate, think about a backup aerodrome in each specific case. If elderly people are on the sixteenth floor in a building without gas, with electric stoves on the left bank, look for a place where you can survive. If you have a Khrushchovka on the right bank with a gas water heater, even without heating, there’s a chance to survive. You can raise the temperature above 10° to avoid hypothermia, which is a direct threat to health if temperatures are below +1. So take care of yourself.

Host: Andriy Zolotaryov was with us today. Andriy Volodymyrovych, thank you for the conversation. Thank you viewers for your attention. Once again, take care of yourselves. All the best. Goodbye.

Guest: Goodbye.
