Trump Announces Destruction of Iran's Military Capability

According to ХВИЛЯ: U.S. President Donald Trump has declared the complete destruction of Iran's military capability and announced the formation of an international mission to patrol the Strait of Hormuz. In a statement posted on the Truth Social network, Trump indicated that nations affected by Iran's attempts to block this crucial waterway will dispatch their naval vessels to the region. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most critical maritime chokepoints for global oil shipments.

Trump refuted reports from The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal claiming the destruction of U.S. aircraft in Saudi Arabia. The President stated,

"In reality, the base was struck several days ago, but the aircraft were not hit or destroyed. Four out of five were practically undamaged and have already returned to service"

– Donald Trump. Only one aircraft sustained minor damage.

Escalating Tensions and International Reactions

In response to the heightened tensions, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth approved a request from U.S. Army Central Command to deploy part of an amphibious ready group and a Marine expeditionary unit to the region. Such a naval group typically consists of several U.S. Navy ships and approximately 5,000 military personnel. Trump emphasized that, despite the destruction of Iran's military capability, the country could still conduct operations using drones or mini-missiles.

Trump's announcement of an international patrol mission for the Strait of Hormuz highlights the deteriorating relations between the U.S. and Iran and the potential for increased military activity in the area. This development could have serious implications for global security and stability, as the Strait is a vital route for oil transportation, and any military conflict could disrupt world markets.

The international community's response to these events will remain under close scrutiny, as nations invested in a peaceful resolution may put forward their own proposals to de-escalate the tension.
