US President Donald Trump expressed his accusations against Russian leader Vladimir Putin, stating that he 'let him down' on the issue of peacefully resolving the conflict in Ukraine. Trump made these accusations during a press conference with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

'I thought this would be the easiest option (resolution in Ukraine) because of my relationship with President Putin, but he let me down. He really let me down,' Trump stated.

Trump also noted that Russian casualties exceed Ukrainian ones: 'Putin is killing a lot of people. He is losing more people than he is killing. Russian soldiers are killed more often than Ukrainians.'

The British Prime Minister condemned Putin's actions

British leader Keir Starmer expressed his condemnation of Putin's actions in Ukraine: 'In recent days, Putin has shown his true face by carrying out the largest attacks since the beginning of the evasion of responsibility, with even greater bloodshed, even more innocent lives lost, and unprecedented violations of NATO airspace. These are not the actions characteristic of seeking peace,' the British Prime Minister emphasized.

During the meeting, Trump and Starmer discussed support for Ukraine and increasing pressure on Putin to achieve a peace agreement. It was also announced that the US intends to supply 'large batches of weapons for Ukraine' to NATO countries. The leaders agreed on a technology cooperation agreement between the US and the UK.

As a result of the press conference, it became clear that both countries intend to continue supporting Ukraine in its fight for peace and responding to Russia's aggression. An important aspect is also the agreement on technology cooperation, which could strengthen the partnership between the US and the UK.
