The Death of Pavlo Bobko: The Story of a Defender Who Returned to Ukraine from Italy
Every day at 9 AM, Ukrainians honor the memory of those who died in the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Pavlo Bobko.
Pavlo Petrovych Bobko, call sign Tourist, was a senior soldier who died on July 17, 2025, while carrying out a combat mission near the town of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. He served in military unit A4056.
Pavlo Bobko was born on June 7, 1992. After working in Italy, he joined the military to defend Ukraine and was at the front for 3.5 years, where he was wounded twice but returned to combat each time. Although he was declared missing, he continued to fulfill his duties.
Pavlo Bobko was laid to rest on October 29, 2025, in the village of Pidlypci.

Let Us Honor the Memory of Heroes
The Commander-in-Chief joins in a moment of silence, honoring the memory of all Ukrainians who died in the war for freedom. Memorial candles are lit, heads bow in sorrow during the nationwide moment of silence, honoring those who gave their lives for the independence of the state.
