Traffic blocked for 12 days at railway crossing in Bila Tserkva district
Traffic restrictions in the Bila Tserkva region
According to Главком: From June 24 to July 5, 2026, all vehicle movement will be completely halted at a railway crossing located at the 55-kilometer mark in the village of Sukholisy, within the Bila Tserkva district of Kyiv Oblast. This closure is necessary due to scheduled repair work. To minimize disruption, drivers can take a detour via another railway crossing at the 64-kilometer point, situated near the Zhytni Hory stop in the settlement of Rokytne.
Temporary restrictions in Kyiv
Additionally, in the city of Kyiv, temporary restrictions on heavy truck traffic have been introduced whenever air temperatures exceed +28 °C. The ban applies to entry and movement of large vehicles weighing over 24 tons or with an axle load greater than 7 tons. This measure was enacted by Kyivavtodor, the city's road management authority.
The repair work at the Sukholisy railway crossing aims to improve safety and upgrade local infrastructure. Motorists are advised to account for these changes and plan their routes well in advance.
These actions highlight the active efforts of local authorities to enhance road infrastructure and ensure traffic safety. At the same time, the restrictions on heavy trucks in Kyiv reflect the need to respond to weather conditions and preserve road quality. Drivers should stay alert and adjust their travel plans accordingly.
In addition to the railway crossing closure in the Bila Tserkva district, several road sections in Kyiv are also facing traffic limitations until September. These measures are part of ongoing efforts to enhance the city's infrastructure and ensure safer travel for all road users. Staying informed about these changes can help motorists plan their journeys more effectively.
