In the center of Kyiv, a prosecutor's employee hit a woman and fled: The accident was caught on video

On the night of July 20, a tragedy occurred in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv: a prosecutor's employee ran over a woman in a pedestrian zone and fled the scene. The Attorney General of Ukraine, Ruslan Kravchenko, reported that the driver of the vehicle, who was the chief specialist of one of the prosecutor's departments, was later detained.Kravchenko emphasized that no one can escape liability before the law, even if they hold the status of a public servant. He assured that he would take the investigation under personal control and would defend the interests of the victim in court. The prosecutor's employee has been charged with violating traffic rules while intoxicated, which resulted in the death of the woman who, unfortunately, died in the hospital.
