According to Главком: During the World Economic Forum in Davos, representatives from the Russian Federation and the United States held confidential talks. On Tuesday, a meeting took place between Kirill Dmitriev, a special envoy of the Russian President, and American officials Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. The primary focus of their discussion was on matters of economics, trade, and investment.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Dmitriev's plans to engage with the American delegation were carried out at the forum. Kirill Dmitriev characterized the dialogue as

"constructive,"

indicating a mutual intent from both sides to continue discussions on pivotal issues.
