Temporary changes in the operation of public transport came into effect in Dnipro on June 1. Due to repair work and the need to adjust transportation in the city, routes for several buses and trolleybuses have changed, and one tram route has completely suspended its operation. This information is reported by the Department of Mobility and Urban Infrastructure of the Dnipro City Council.

Route changes in Dnipro affected buses and trams

One of the main changes is the temporary suspension of tram number 16. Meanwhile, buses number 18, 55, and 151A now detour via Krasnopilskaya Street.

Additionally, the final stops of certain routes have changed. Bus number 85 temporarily ends its route at the building on Chornykh Zaporiztsiv Street, 2A near the branch of «Nova Poshta».

Due to ongoing repair work, bus number 136A no longer runs to its previous terminus on Engineer Street. Its route now ends at Bohdana Khmelnytskoho Avenue, 123.

Trolleybus routes have received a new operational scheme

Trolleybus routes number 2 and number 12 have temporarily been combined into one route, connecting the residential area Pivdenny with the residential area Peremoga.

Furthermore, trolleybuses number 7, 14, 17, and 20, as well as bus number 38 have been temporarily shortened. Their final stop has become Prince Volodymyr the Great Street near the Most-City shopping and business center.

For buses number 23, 57A, and 88, the final stop has been moved to Uspenska Square.

Changes have also affected popular city routes number 120 and number 121. Bus number 120 now ends its route on Volodymyr Monomakh Street. In the direction of the residential area Peremoga, the transport travels via Dmytro Yavornytsky Avenue, Voskresenska Street, and Sicheslavska Embankment.

Bus number 121 in the direction of the residential area Pivdenny travels through Volodymyr Monomakh Street, Dmytro Yavornytsky Avenue, Juliusz Słowacki Street, and Sicheslavska Embankment, after which it returns to the usual route.

The city council notes that all changes are temporary and have been implemented to ensure the stable operation of the transport system during repair and organizational activities. Passengers are advised to check current routes in advance before traveling around the city.

It should be reminded that rescue operations are ongoing in Dnipro following the night mass attack by the Russian Federation, which resulted in the death toll rising to 11, including two children.
