Sports holiday for the children of fallen defenders

According to НОК: On Sunday, December 17, a sports holiday "Intersport - To the Heroes' Children" took place in Dnipro at the territory of the "Epicenter" shopping center. The event was organized by the companies "Epicenter K" and "Intersport", in collaboration with the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and the Charitable Foundation "Children of Heroes". More than 50 children along with their parents participated in the event.

During the holiday, there was a minute of silence to honor the memory of those who perished in the Russo-Ukrainian war. Then guests were welcomed from the podium by representatives of the NOC of Ukraine, the "Epicenter" shopping center, and the Charitable Foundation "Children of Heroes".

Further in the program, various sports competitions, contests, and communication with famous Olympians were planned. Children had the opportunity to hold Olympic medals, participate in trivia, and win baseball caps.

In the second part of the event, guests competed in laser tag, basketball, and darts, as well as participated in a relay with Paralympic champion Oksana Boturchuk. At the end, all participants received gifts and surprises from the organizers of the holiday.

The interesting and sporting event "Intersport – For the Heroes' Children" in Dnipro saw children along with their parents honoring the memory of the fallen and excelling in various contests under the guidance of famous athletes. The holiday united people around sports values and positive emotions.
