Numerous changes in public transport in Dnipro implemented on June 29

On June 29, large-scale changes in the operation of public transport are taking place in Dnipro due to simultaneous repairs of the water supply, tram tracks, and stormwater networks. Restrictions affected buses, trams, and trolleybuses in several areas of the city. This is reported by the Dnipro City Council.

Which routes changed due to repairs on Krivorizka Street

Due to water pipeline repairs, traffic is closed on Krivorizka Street between Robocha and Metalurhiv Avenue.

In connection with this:

  • buses №55 and №75 are rerouted through Arabatska, Klienova, and Robocha;

  • bus №156 goes through Arabatska, Klienova, Robocha, and further according to the route;

  • routes №146A and №146B are temporarily combined. The terminal stops are located on Robocha Street near Klienova Street and near the intersection of Krivorizka Street with Metalurhiv Avenue.

What changes are in effect due to tram track repairs

The second stage of track repairs at the intersection of Bohdan Khmelnytsky Avenue and Chornykh Zaporizhtsiv Street also affected transport operations.

The changes are as follows:

  • tram №16 is temporarily not operating;

  • tram №12 runs from Stary Most Square to Sikorsky Street;

  • trolleybuses №8 and №9 operate to Denys Kotenko Street;

  • buses №32, №32K, №33, №34, №106, №127, and №136 detour via Krasnopilskaya and Chornykh Zaporizhtsiv Streets;

  • buses №18, №55, and №151A operate via Krasnopilskaya Street;

  • the final stop of bus №85 has been moved to Chornykh Zaporizhtsiv Street, 2A;

  • bus №136A ends its route at Bohdan Khmelnytsky Avenue, 123;

  • the stop “PK Shynnyk” towards the village of Myrny has been temporarily moved closer to the intersection with Chornykh Zaporizhtsiv Street.

What else has changed in transport movement

Due to the repair of the stormwater network on Queen Elizabeth II Street, the final stop of bus №23 has been temporarily moved to Uspenska Square.

Additionally, trams №15 will finish work earlier on June 29 due to track repairs at the intersection of Ivan Mazepa Avenue and Kyiv Street.

The last departures will be:

  • from the railway station at 20:15;

  • from Krivorizka Street at 20:46.

Other public transport routes are operating as usual according to the working day schedule.

Let’s remind that on June 8 in Dnipro, in the Novokodatsky district, as a result of an explosion of ammunition on the territory of a private household, two men died.
